“Digidontics: the Computerization of Restorative Dentistry”
Today’s practitioners of dentistry need to analyze, comprehend, and implement an extraordinary amount of knowledge and technical skill in order to practice ideal dentistry. Among many technological advances, computers have permeated the main- stream of restorative dentistry. The conventional systems for radiography and impressions are the latest to face a digital counterpart. This presentation will demonstrate how cone beam CT and a dedicated digital impression system can be used alongside conventional techniques to obtain excellent esthetic and functional results.
